This local park includes a playground and our restored gazebo. It also houses local vendors, fireworks, contests and activities during the annual Carnival.

Water Valley has an amazing collection of eclectic shops right on Main Street. Drop in to one of the many restaurants and cafes for everything from Thai noodles and pizza to crawfish and gumbo to gourmet chocolates and made from scratch pies.

Water Valley is home to Bozarts Gallery and an amazing array of artists and their works.

Turnage Drug Store, a family-owned pharmacy since 1905, includes its original soda fountain, an eclectic gift shop, top notch pharmacist and the friendliest family service you'll find anywhere.

The annual two-day Water Valley WATERMELON Carnival happens the first weekend of August and attracts over 20,000 visitors every year to the carnival, music, activities, barbecue contests, car show and craft booths, .

Our annual Street Dance, happens the Friday night of the Watermelon Carnival drawing crowds to City Park and ending with a fireworks show.

Christmas in the Valley is an annual holiday celebration complete with parade, carriage rides, carolers and much more!

The Casey Jones Railroad Museum is located in the Heart of downtown Water Valley, Mississippi. There is no charge for admission.
