This charming park features a playground and a beautifully restored gazebo. During the annual Watermelon Carnival the first weekend in August, it comes alive with local vendors, fireworks, contests, and activities for everyone to enjoy.

Our Auditorium is a versatile venue that seats 600 people, making it the perfect setting for a wide range of events. The facility is currently being refurbished and will soon open again as a welcoming space to host various cultural, social, and entertainment activities.

Home to the Chamber of Commerce office, the City Clock, and the Railroad Park Pavilion, this picturesque spot is perfect for soaking in the charm of Main Street. The park features monuments honoring those who lost their lives in service to our country, as well as a special tribute to WWII veterans. Each first Saturday during the spring and summer, the park comes alive with a bustling Farmers Market under the grand Magnolia Trees, making it a delightful destination for both locals and visitors alike.​

Water Valley has an amazing collection of eclectic shops right on Main Street. Drop in to one of the many restaurants and cafes for everything from Thai noodles and pizza to crawfish and gumbo to gourmet chocolates and made from scratch pies.

Water Valley is home to Bozarts Gallery and an amazing array of artists and their works.

Turnage Drug Store, a family-owned pharmacy since 1905, includes its original soda fountain, an eclectic gift shop, top notch pharmacist and the friendliest family service you'll find anywhere.

The annual two-day Water Valley WATERMELON Carnival happens the first weekend of August and attracts over 20,000 visitors every year to the carnival, music, activities, barbecue contests, car show and craft booths, .

Our annual Street Dance, happens the Friday night of the Watermelon Carnival drawing crowds to City Park and ending with a fireworks show.

Christmas in the Valley is an annual holiday celebration complete with parade, carriage rides, carolers and much more!

The Casey Jones Railroad Museum is located in the Heart of downtown Water Valley, Mississippi. There is no charge for admission.
